Auto import course roster for breakout rooms in Brightspace

Meeting hosts can pre-assign participants into breakout rooms when scheduling meetings. Administrators can enable the integration to pull a list of participants from the LMS and pre-populate the breakout room participants list. The meeting host can then select which participants to add to the breakout room.

Prerequisites for auto importing course rosters for breakout rooms in Brightspace

• Education, Business, or Enterprise Plan
• Zoom Account user with Admin role permissions
• Admin access in Brightspace
• LTI Pro 1.3 configured for Brightspace

How to configure autocomplete for breakout rooms in Brightspace

1. Login to D2L/Brightspace as an Admin
2. Click settings .
3. Click Manage Extensibility.
4. Click the LTI Advantage tab.
5. Locate and click on your LTI app for Zoom.
6. Under Extensions, enable Names and Role Provisioning Services.
7. Click Save.
8. Back on the Brightspace home page, click settings .
9. Click External Learning Tools.
10. Click the LTI Advantage tab.
11. Locate and click on your LTI app for Zoom.
12. Under Extensions, enable Names and Role Provisioning Services.
13. Under Security Settings, enable Classlist including users not known to this deployment.
14. Click Save.
