Last Updated:

Under the Settings tab within Zoom Node, Admins set the logging behavior, update behavior, and advanced monitoring for their Zoom Node instance.

This article covers:

Prerequisites for modifying the Zoom Node settings

  • Business, Education, or Enterprise account
  • Account owner or admin privilege
  • Zoom Node subscription

How to access Zoom Node settings

To access your Node instance's settings:

  1. Sign in to the Zoom web portal.
  2. In the navigation menu, click Node Management, then click Settings.

Zoom Node Log settings

Under the Log section, admins can enable or disable, as well as set the logging behavior for their Zoom Node service, including:

  • Allow upload logs to Zoom cloud automatically: When enabled, logs generated by Node servers will be uploaded to the Zoom Cloud automatically. Once uploaded, the logs will be available in the Logs tab of your Node module.
  • Set retention period for the logs on the nodes: Enable to set the retention period for logs. By default, the retention period is 7 days but can be modified to 14 days.
  • Enable troubleshooting logs on services: When enabled, if there are any issues with the services, troubleshooting logs will automatically be generated by the Node instance.

Zoom Node Auto-update settings

Under the Auto update section of the Settings tab, admins can enable Auto-update Zoom Node and its services setting for their Zoom Node servers, modules, and other components. If enabled, admins can set the Installation days (the days of the week updates can be deployed), and the Installation time period (the time of day updates can be deployed).

Note: The installation time is based on the time zone set on the server itself.

Additionally, Update notifications can be enabled and configured to notify designated users on the account of new updates for their Node instance.
