The Zoom Node Dashboard now supports the ability to add additional widget cards to the Dashboard view. These cards can be previewed before being added to the Dashboard. In addition, UI improvements have been added including a combined services/health card, and a Zone statistics card for Meeting Connector.

Node Management portal changes
Zoom Node management has moved from the Advanced section of the admin portal and is now its own section under Admin. This change also includes a dedicated update portal, that displays available updates for all modules as well as the update history. -
Automatic certificate validation
Certificates uploaded to a Node server via the local admin interface will now be automatically validated once they have been imported.

Enhanced Node diagnostics and troubleshooting
Admins utilizing the Node service can now run a series of diagnostic commands from the local web browser interface for the Node server. -
Support for additional virtualization platforms
Zoom Node now supports additional virtualization platforms including KVM Hypervisor (QCOW2 image) in addition to OVA-based platforms. When adding a new Node server, admins can choose their virtualization platform and download the relevant files to better align with their environmental requirements. -
Web-based GUI for initial setup
The text-based user interface used for the initial Zoom Node setup has been replaced with a Web-based GUI. -
Bulk Licensing
Zoom Node and Node module licenses now can be shared from master to subaccounts. -
Enhanced Automatic update features
Zoom Node’s update process now supports differentiated update rules based on issue severity, as well as new update notification options and new update rules.

The Meeting Connector now supports the Q&A features for on-premise meetings. -
Zone restriction to specific users
To allow for easier migration from the legacy Meeting Connector to the Zoom Node Meeting Connector module, Zones can be assigned to specific users for testing and validation of a Zone and the associated Node Meeting Connector modules before migrating current users still utilizing the legacy Meeting Connector. -
Enable and disable specific Zones
Zones can now be disabled without deleting, allowing for work on certain zones or Zone Controllers, Multimedia Routers (MMR), or Recording Connectors (RC) associated with that specific zone. -
Support for sharing Zone Controllers across sub-accounts
Zone Controllers and their associated Zones and MMRs can be shared from a main account with a sub-account. In addition, if a sub-account has other sub-accounts associated with it, the Zone Controllers can also be shared with that account.

Support for advanced monitoring via SNMP MIB
Zoom Node now supports Simple Network Management Protocol (SNMP) for monitoring with Node servers utilizing Zoom Meetings Hybrid, Meeting Connector, and Recording Connector modules. Once enabled in the Settings tab of Zoom Node, admins can create SNMP credentials to be utilized for network-level monitoring.

Organizations with the Zoom Node service can now deploy the Meeting Connector, Recording Connector, and Hybrid Meeting modules with Zoom Node. With these new modules, organizations can deploy on-premise and hybrid meeting services within their network. Contact our Sales team for more information on purchasing these services.
